Zariseo is a dispenser and organiser for the rolls you use most in the kitchen. It keeps cling film, aluminium foil, baking paper and a kitchen roll together in one unit, and its slide cutters cut the piece you need to length. It is made for anyone who cooks every day, stores leftovers, packs lunch boxes or lines baking trays, and would rather have everything to hand than scattered across the drawers.
A kitchen roll organiser that clears your drawers
The cardboard boxes that cling film and foil come in get crushed, fall open and end up at the back of a drawer. With Zariseo each roll has its own slot and its own exit, so you can see at a glance which one is running low. The kitchen roll sits on its own holder, which means everything you use to wrap, cover and wipe lives in the same spot.
Cling film and foil cutter: pull, hold and slide
Cling film is hard to cut because it shrinks back and sticks to itself the moment it loses tension. Here the sheet stays taut across the rail while the slide cutter travels from one side to the other, so the cut comes out straight. You take just the length you need, with no scissors and no serrated box edge.
A kitchen roll holder for the wall, under a cabinet or on the worktop
You can leave it standing on the worktop, hang it on the wall or fix it under a wall cabinet. On the worktop it needs no installation and moves aside when you clean. On the wall or under a cabinet it frees up the work surface. Choose a spot at hand height, close to where you prepare food and away from the direct heat of the hob.
Baking paper and kitchen roll within reach too
As well as cling film and foil, the dispenser has room for baking paper and for a roll of kitchen paper. Replacing a finished roll takes a moment: put the new one in its slot with the end facing forwards and feed it through the exit. It takes household rolls in the usual sizes; the maximum width is listed in the specifications table.
How to use it
Load the rolls
Take each roll out of its cardboard box and put it in its compartment, with the end coming out at the front.
Pull out the length you need
Hold the end with both hands and pull until it covers the plate or the tray, with a little to spare.
Slide the cutter
Keep the sheet taut over the edge and run the cutter from one side to the other in a single steady movement.
Leave the end ready
The end of the roll stays resting at the exit, in view for next time.
Cleaning and maintenance
Wipe the outside with a damp cloth and a drop of washing-up liquid, then dry it. Every so often take the rolls out and clean the inside and the cutter rail, where scraps of paper and grease build up. Do not put it under water or use abrasive scourers, which scratch the plastic. If it is hung up, check the fixing from time to time.
Frequently asked questions
Which rolls fit in the cling film and aluminium foil dispenser?
It is designed for household rolls of cling film, aluminium foil and baking paper, plus one roll of kitchen paper. The maximum width it takes is shown in the specifications table: measure your rolls before you buy. Long catering rolls do not fit. Rolls are not included.
How does a cling film dispenser with a cutter work?
You pull the film out to the length you want, keep it taut over the edge and run the slide cutter from one side to the other. The blade cuts in a straight line and the end of the roll stays resting at the exit, without curling back or sticking, ready for next time.
Can it be hung on the wall without drilling?
It depends on the fixings supplied with your unit. As a general rule, mounting adhesives grip well on smooth, clean, dry surfaces such as tiles, and need time to settle before they carry weight. On rough or plaster walls, screwing it in place is more reliable. If you would rather not install anything, it works just as well standing on the worktop.
Does it work as a kitchen roll holder?
Yes. As well as the compartments with a cutter, it has a holder for a kitchen roll of the usual size, which you tear off along the perforation as on any roll holder. Extra-large rolls may not fit: compare their size with the dimensions in the specifications table.
Is the slide cutter safe?
The blade sits inside the sliding piece and is not exposed like the serrated edge of a box, so the normal cutting movement does not bring your fingers into contact with it. Even so, it is a sharp blade: keep your fingers out of the rail and place the dispenser out of the reach of children.
How do you clean a kitchen roll organiser?
With a damp cloth and a little mild soap on the outside, drying it afterwards. Every so often it is worth taking the rolls out to clean the inside and the cutter rail, where scraps of paper collect. Do not put it in the dishwasher or under water.
