What it does
A spin mop with a two-tank bucket: one holds the clean water and the other collects the dirty water the mop releases as it spins. That way you never dip the head back into murky water. The flat microfibre head wrings out without touching it and slides under furniture.

Read the full description
Dalenen is a spin mop with a bucket divided into two tanks: one for clean water and one for dirty water. The mop has a flat microfibre head that is wetted, spun and wrung out in the bucket itself. It is made for everyday floor cleaning at home and for anyone tired of finishing the hallway with grey water that no longer cleans.
A mop bucket that keeps dirty and clean water apart
In an ordinary bucket, every time you wring the mop the dirty water goes back where you wet it, and by the third room you are mopping with murky water. Here, the water the mop releases as it spins drops into the dirty-water tank, separate from the clean one.
So when you wet the head again, you do it in clean water. When you finish, you empty the dirty water without throwing away the clean water if you still have another room to mop.
A spin mop: wring without touching it
The head sits in the bucket's spinner and, when you work the handle, it spins quickly and throws the water out by the force of the rotation. There is nothing to twist, no bending down and no touching the pad with your hands.
You control how much water stays in: a short spin leaves it damp for tiles and stoneware, and a longer spin leaves it almost dry for wooden or laminate floors.
A flat spin mop that reaches under furniture
The head is flat and hinged to the handle, so the mop lies almost level with the floor and slides under the bed, the sofa or the kitchen units. Turning the handle takes it around chair legs and along skirting boards.
The microfibre pad picks up dust, hair and fluff. It comes off the head, goes in the washing machine and is used again.
How to use the dual-tank mop and bucket
Assemble the mop
Join the handle sections and fit the microfibre pad on the head until it is held firmly.
Fill the clean-water tank
Pour water and the dose of your usual floor cleaner into the clean-water side alone, without going past the fill mark.
Wet and spin
Wet the head in the clean water, then put it in the spinner and work the handle until it is as damp as you like.
Mop in sections
Work from the far end of the room towards the door. When the pad gets dirty, wet it and spin it again.
Empty the tanks
When you finish, empty the dirty water and any clean water left over, rinse the bucket and let the pad dry.
Care and maintenance
Empty and rinse both tanks after each use and let them dry open; do not leave water inside overnight, as it starts to smell. Every so often, remove any hair tangled in the spinner. Wash the pad in the washing machine with ordinary detergent, without fabric softener or bleach, and let it air dry.
Frequently asked questions
How does a mop bucket that separates dirty and clean water work?
The bucket has two tanks. You wet the mop in the clean-water tank and wring it in the spinner, which sends the water it releases into the dirty-water tank. As the two do not mix, every time you wet the head again you do it in clean water, not in the water you have just wrung out.
How is it different from an ordinary spin mop and bucket?
In an ordinary spin bucket, the water the mop releases goes back into the same tank where you wet it, and gets dirtier with every pass. Here it stays in a separate tank. Mopping and wringing work the same way, but the water you wet the mop with stays clean for longer.
Is the spin mop suitable for parquet and laminate?
Yes, as long as you spin it well. Give it a long spin so the pad is just damp and do not leave puddles on the wood. If your floor comes with cleaning instructions from the manufacturer, follow them, especially for oiled or unsealed parquet, which takes very little water.
How often do you need to change the water in the two-compartment bucket?
It depends on the size of the home and how dirty the floor is. In an average flat, filling it once is usually enough. If the dirty-water tank fills up or the clean water runs low, empty the dirty water, top up the clean water and carry on mopping. When you finish, always empty both.
Can the microfibre pads go in the washing machine?
Yes. Take the pad off the head, shake it to loosen hair and fluff and wash it with ordinary detergent. Avoid fabric softener and bleach, because they make microfibre less absorbent, and let it air dry before fitting it again. With two pads you can mop with one while the other dries.
