The Lufthous ACQUA 718 is a water filter vacuum cleaner that picks up dry dirt as well as spilled liquids. Instead of a bag it has a clear tank with water and a HEPA filter. It is made for homes with pets that knock over their water bowl or children who spill their glass, and for anyone who would rather have one machine for everyday dust and small accidents.
Water filter vacuum cleaner: the dust stays in the tank
The air drawn in through the tube passes through the water in the tank, and dust, sand, crumbs and hair stay in it. There are no bags to buy or change. Through the clear wall you can see how the water is doing and when it is time to change it. The HEPA filter also holds back the finest dust.

Wet and dry vacuum cleaner for spills at home
The same machine picks up the water from the dog's bowl, an overturned glass or what is left on the floor after mopping. For that it comes with a wet-floor brush that draws the liquid towards the suction opening, and the liquid ends up in the tank. The housing is rated IPX4 against splashes; even so, do not immerse it or leave it outdoors.

Tools for corners, gaps and the sofa
As well as the two-in-one floor brush, the box holds a triangular brush for corners and nooks, a narrow crevice tool for gaps, sliding-door tracks and the spaces between sofa cushions, and a metal extension tube that adjusts to several positions. It works on carpet, wooden floors and porous tiles.
Vacuum cleaner with a blower function
The hose also connects to the air outlet at the back, and then the machine blows instead of sucking. It is handy for moving dry leaves off a terrace or blowing dust out of corners the tube cannot reach, and vacuuming it up afterwards. To vacuum again, move the hose back to the inlet and turn it until you hear it click.
New, in its box and with a guarantee
The ACQUA 718 arrives new, unused and in its original box, with all its tools and the manual. It carries the 3-year legal guarantee, which we handle ourselves, and you have 14 days to withdraw from the purchase. You can pay for it on delivery.
How to use the water filter vacuum cleaner
Prepare the tank
For dust, fill it with clean water up to the level shown in the manual and put it back firmly in place.
Fit the hose
Connect it to the suction inlet and turn it until it clicks. Add the metal tube at your height and the tool you need.
Vacuum
Plug it in, switch it on and move the brush slowly. For liquids, you can change to the wet-floor brush.
Change the water when needed
If the water looks very dirty or nears the maximum level, switch it off, unplug it and change it.
Empty it when you finish
Pour the dirty water down the drain, rinse the tank and let the parts dry before putting it away.
Cleaning and maintenance
Empty and rinse the tank after each use, because dirty water left inside ends up smelling. Let the tank, the filter cylinder and the wet-floor brush air-dry before you put them back. Check the HEPA filter from time to time and clean it as the manual says. Wipe the housing with a damp cloth with the machine unplugged, and store the hose without kinks.
Frequently asked questions
Is the ACQUA 718 a genuine Lufthous product?
Yes, it is the genuine Lufthous vacuum cleaner, new, unused and in its original box. It comes with all its tools and the instruction manual, and it has the 3-year legal guarantee, which we handle ourselves.
What guarantee does the vacuum cleaner have?
It has the 3-year legal guarantee that applies to new products in Spain and Portugal, and we handle it ourselves. If you notice a fault, write to us with your order number and a description or a short video, and we will tell you how we will sort it out. You also have 14 days to withdraw from the purchase.
How does a water filter vacuum cleaner work?
The air it draws in passes through the water in the tank, and dust, hair and sand stay in the water instead of in a bag. The HEPA filter then holds back the finest dust. When you finish, you pour away the dirty water, rinse the tank and let it dry before putting it away.
Can the ACQUA 718 pick up water?
Yes, it is a wet and dry vacuum cleaner: it picks up spilled water, a pet's overturned bowl or what is left on the floor after mopping. Use the wet-floor brush and empty the tank before it reaches the maximum level. Do not vacuum flammable liquids, solvents or anything hot.
Is it good for carpets and dog hair on the sofa?
Yes. With the two-in-one floor brush you can do carpets, rugs and wooden or tiled floors, and with the triangular brush and the crevice tool you can go over the sofa, the corners and the gaps between the cushions, where pet hair tends to build up.
How heavy is it, and is it easy to move around?
It weighs just over 5 kilos with the tank empty. It has a handle on top for lifting it and small castors under the base, so on the same floor it rolls along behind you and you just pick it up by the handle to go up stairs or put it away. With water in the tank it weighs a little more.
